Hey everyone, back on the road again, here in beautiful downtown San Diego, CA to hang out with a good friend and top income earner online, Chris Luttrell.
Watch this video for a quick productivity tip of the day…
Productivity tip of the day from downtown San Diego
This is a simple, but profound concept that can completely change your business, and put you on a whole new level as an entrepreneur.
If you want to increase your productivity 100 times fold, put this into play:
STOP "working on things" and instead "get things done".
Having coached hundreds of entrepreneurs, one of the biggest mistakes people make is working on thingsindefinitely, instead of setting clear deadlines.
It's important to break down your large goals into smaller pieces, and create a daily and weekly plan of action.
Insider Tip: Behind the scenes of IIU, we meet weekly and create a list of tasks that are expected by all partners to be fully completed before the next meeting. This is how we ensure that we are NOT JUST "working on things" but we are "getting things done" which automatically propels our business forward.
Don't fool yourself. Saying you are going to "work on your blog" or "make videos" doesn't mean anything.
Until you commit to a CLEAR CUT, SPECIFIC plan of action and break-down your goals into attainable, bite-size pieces- you will not reach the level of success you desire.
This is what those goals look like when you actually commit to achieving them, NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE!!
Instead of "work on your blog", you are going to "Create 7 keyword targeted blog posts by Monday of next week."
Instead of "make videos", you are going to "Film, edit and upload 3 videos to Youtube by Friday."
Apply this subtle, JEDI MIND TRICK when you are making your list of goals, and do it WEEKLY at the very LEAST.
Follow this simple productivity tip of the day, and success becomes automatic!

Hey Kevin,
I'm just wondering who inspired this blog post. It must have been some old turkey who dithers away their time! lol
A plan is just that, a plan. Action is what matters!
btw, this just shows how easy it is to create content from all experiences.
Thanks for your leadership.
Jerry
@Jerry: Drive for show and putt for dough! Love it...
...and yes, highly inspired by a good friend...
Insider Marketing Tip: Notice how I created the video and then reverse engineered it for the keyword, "Productivity Tip of The Day".... (I had no idea what keyword I was going to target but found one AFTER recording the video that matched the content of the video)
Cheers,
Kevin Blue
Awesome tip, Kevin. Love it.
I also heard recently to focus on your results, rather than your goals. Having goals is necessary, but you want to do more than just set goals, you want to have measurable results--things that actually happened, like you said, at the end of a specific time period.
Keep 'em coming!
