How To Get To The First Page Of Google, And Stay There!
In the video above, you're going to learn how to generate an infinite amount of traffic, leads, and sales by getting your content to show up on the first page of Google, for FREE!
Everything is best explained in the video, but here are some of the basics just to recap:
What is Search Engine Optimization? (SEO)
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is waaayyy overcomplicated in my opinion…
SEO in layman's terms: make Google happy, show up on the first page of search results, and get free traffic…
DON’T BE FOOLED….
SEO plays a sneaky role in almost EVERYTHING that you do online, so MASTER this skill...
Here are just a few examples of SEO in disguise:
- Video marketing
- Blogging
- Article Marketing
A few exceptions:
- PPC / PPV
- Social Media
Keyword Research Is The Foundation…
Keyword research is the most undervalued skill in internet marketing.
If you don't target your keywords wisely, you're COMPLETELY WASTING your time.
When it comes to keyword research, there is one EXTREMELY important concept that you need to grasp, and that is the difference between "short-tail" keywords, and "long-tail" keywords.
Make sure you watch our video training on keyword research if you haven't already, it will be a real eye-opener for you.
Long Tail vs. Short Tail Keywords…
When you're doing SEO, you ALWAYS want to target "long-tail" keywords.
Long-tail keywords are longer, more specific phrases.
Typically, a good long-tail keyword will consist of 3-5 words in a single phrase or keyterm.
A quick, easy backdoor to massive amounts of long-tail keywords – just start typing in Google and see what they suggest….
Now, onto the "TECHNICAL STUFF"
There are two main factors that Google looks at when determing whether or not your site is worthy of showing up on the first page of the search results.
"On-page optimization" AND "off-page optimization"
On-page optimization is all about your website, and how your article or blog post is structured.
Off-page optimization really comes down to one simple idea- how many OTHER websites are linking back to your site? (the more sites that are linking back to your site, the better)
On-Page Optimization Keys To Succes
This is where a lot of people OVERTHINK the SEO process…
Use common sense, is this article, video, or blog CLEARLY targeting one specific keyword?
We can get detailed, but to start out, here’s all you need to know (you’ll be way ahead of 99% of your competitors):
- Use the keyword once in the TITLE of your article, blog post, or video.
- Use the keyword once in each paragraph.
Off-Page Optimization Keys To Success
Off-page optimization is all about LINKS, LINKS, and more LINKS.
You want to have as many DIFFERENT websites as possible linking back to the specific page on your site that you are trying to get to the top of Google.
How many sites are linking to your blog post, article or video?
When linking back to your site, it shouldn't just say "Click Here", the actual link should be your keyword phrase.
This is called anchor text. (the words that are in blue and clickable)
If this sounds confusing, watch the video above again, it's a lot easier to understand when you see it.
A Quick Recap
SEO is all about producing content that makes Google happy.
When you make Google happy, you get free traffic.
There are two things to consider when making Google happy: on-page and off-page optimization.
On-page optimization is all about your website.
Off-page optimization is all about “link buoys” (links back to your website) that will help you float your content to the surface (page 1 of Google).
Apply these simple principles and you'll have more traffic, leads, and sales than you know what to do with!
